The most exciting thing I have learned in my business career is that individual people and teams working together can achieve amazing things when the right knowledge and commitment are linked to enthusiasm and clear, achievable goals. This is why I am excited to be a Business Coach with ActionCOACH, helping people and businesses achieve what they want.
I love to make complicated things simple, enabling people to act with confidence and energy.
I started my career armed with an economics degree and have spent much of it in marketing and sales in the healthcare industry, managing businesses in the UK and Western Europe. I have managed sales teams and product launches and seen people achieve incredible results with a clear focus on what they want to achieve. I have also taken the lead in successfully rebuilding the performance of a complex $300m business in Western Europe, focusing teams across the continent on change and delivering superior results.
Since joining ActionCOACH, I have coached over 75 businesses in a wide range of retail manufacturing and service industries and have helped hundreds of business owners through my seminars and workshops. Amongst the many companies I have helped are an architect, IT consultancy, timber merchant, marketing company, training company, outside caterer, packaging company, tyre and exhaust centre, printer, a double glazing company, a wedding dress shop and a human hair retailer!
I have worked with clients throughout Wiltshire, Bath, Bristol and Gloucestershire, My focus is on Wiltshire and Bath businesses and my passion is to help bring prosperity to businesses within Wessex.
Outside work I am married with two sons who reached the ages of 21 and 18 in 2011 and one golden (or sometimes mud-coloured) retriever who makes sure I get out and about in the wonderful countryside of the Marlborough Downs. I do regular voluntary work within my community and I sing with two local choirs. I have a passion for sailing which has taken me across the Indian and South Atlantic Oceans, as well as local reservoirs and the English Channel.
There is room for improvement in every business, remember ’If you always do what you always did, then you’ll always get what you always got!’
You can choose to do tomorrow what you did today or we can spend an initial hour or two working on some ideas for improving your results. It’s free for anyone who has a business and is committed to improving the results.
I look forward to meeting you.
